SCYTHEISIZER: 100%!

Today, at 23:30PM, I did it. I FINISHED THE SITE. It’s been a long two years of working on a personal site, and after redos in the double-digits, I finally did it. We’re done. SCYTHEISIZER is complete.

But that doesn’t mean I’m done, really. I still have so many pages I could make, I just haven’t thought of them yet. I mean, the GV fanlist, drawbox, those were like. Random ideas I made on impulse, you know? So much more I could do with this site that I just haven’t done yet.

With that being said, I hope I actually keep making up ideas for the site instead of abandoning it. You know the saying, “The trip is better than the destination?” No? Well, probably because I said it wrong. Whatever. I don’t remember it. But the point IS. Now that I’m finished with my site, I hope I don’t lose interest in it. The fun really came from having all those pages to do, and now that I’m done with all of them, now what? Nothing really else to do now that I’m done except for add onto it. That’s a little hard to do considering I’m not really on-top of adding blog entries. Because I don’t write them that often.

Maybe I can make more shrines. There’s so many characters I want to make shrines for (mainly Gunvolt characters and MAYBE Soap once my immaculate crush on him fades away and I can stare at him for more than half a second), and there’s a few sub-pages I have yet to do, I’ll admit. Maybe they won’t be as fun, but they’ll keep me busy and that’s all I want.

I’d like to thank everyone who stuck around to watch the site grow. Through every single version, username change, and stuff in-between I can’t remember right now. Thanks so much for just sticking around! Thank you to everyone who left a chat box comment. Even if they were pretty short, and probably gone since there’s a limit of 100 messages at a time… thanks for stopping by to say something. Your comments make me smile. And then to everyone who bothers to leave a guestbook comment? Thank you for writing all that you did. You really didn’t need to write all that, but you did anyways. Especially with the extra work on your end, having to go look at images of. Gunvolt characters. What you guys leave there for me, they tend to stick to my mind a lot. Thanks to everyone for the support and admiration. I’m not really all that much when you think about it— everyone isn’t all that much to begin with. But you all made me feel special and I can’t thank you guys enough. All because strings of code…

People should take the time to learn to make their own websites. I’ve made a few friends from site-making, but those few friends were really good ones, and I don’t think anything would be the same if I didn’t meet them. Site making is really stressful, sure. But when you finally find the reason for your stress, the problem you couldn’t seem to solve in those strings of code, it’s so goddamn relieving. I can’t express that feeling in words but it’s. So worth it. And at the end of the day, you can stand there, look at your screen, and say… “I made that. Me. My own two hands did that.”

I freehand entries like these to make sure my rawest, in-the-moment feelings are conveyed correctly. So I probably… lost the plot a little there and went on a whole different tangent. But whatever. Point is, SCYTHEISIZER is done. But that doesn’t mean we’re stopping here! And that doesn’t mean you should stop at just watching me make this site!
